EXPLORE BIDAYUH SADONG CULTURE, KAMPUNG BUNAN GEGA, MONGKOS, SERIAN.
Student Association Faculty of Engineering (SAFE) 2017/2018 organized a volunteer activity at Kampung Bunan Gega, Mongkos, Serian for 3 days 2 nights from 1 to 3 December 2017. A total of 76 students from Unimas including the Student Association Faculty of Engineering (SAFE) and an escort lecturer Dr Nazeri Abdul Rahman, the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs and alumni of the engineering faculty have been involved in the volunteer's activities. This program with a theme of "volunteering and explore" was attended by students from year one to year of each faculty in UNIMAS. Various activities were conducted with participants and residents of Kampung Bunan Gega. All planned activities have been successfully implemented. Through these volunteer activities, UNIMAS students and students are able to foster a sense of cooperation among themselves and to strengthen relationships with outsiders with residents of Kampung Bunan Gega. They will also be able to instill respect and affection for the people regardless of religion, race and age. Overall, the objective of the program has been achieved.
